Congress Will Ensure No Eligible Voter Is Excluded During SIR in Haryana: Rao Narender Singh

Sonipat: Haryana Congress president Rao Narender Singh on Saturday said the party would work to ensure that every eligible citizen is included in the electoral rolls and that no genuine voter is left out during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

He made the remarks while addressing a one-day state-level workshop on SIR organised by the Haryana Congress in Sonipat.

Singh said the party’s focus was to safeguard the voting rights of eligible citizens and ensure that no genuine voter’s name was removed from the electoral rolls during the revision process.

The workshop was inaugurated by former Haryana chief minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

The Congress leaders and workers attending the workshop discussed various aspects of the SIR exercise and the steps required to assist eligible voters during the process.
