CM Satheesan rejects claim that SIR helped UDF win Kerala election

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Friday rejected allegations that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls helped the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) come to power in Kerala.

He was responding to questions about Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Deepke’s claim that the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government lost power in the state because of the SIR exercise.
