CEC Gyanesh Kumar Meets Mongolian Ambassador to Strengthen Electoral Cooperation

New Delhi: Chief Election Commissioner of India and Chairman of the Council of Member States of International IDEA, Gyanesh Kumar, on Saturday met Mongolia’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Ulziit Luvsanjav, at Nirvachan Sadan in New Delhi to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of electoral management.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing democratic cooperation in line with the vision outlined at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IICDEM) 2026.

India and Mongolia also agreed to work closely to deepen collaboration in election management, exchange best practices and strengthen the training and capacity-building of election officials.

The meeting underscored the two countries’ commitment to promoting democratic institutions and fostering greater cooperation in the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.
