Senior Congress leader Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Friday expressed confidence that Chief Minister-designate V D Satheesan would emerge as a strong and effective leader for Kerala.
Speaking to reporters, Radhakrishnan said Satheesan possesses the vision, competence and leadership qualities needed to serve as chief minister.
He also stressed the importance of forming a capable team to meet public expectations. According to him, the responsibility of selecting such a team lies with the “captain” in consultation with the party’s central leadership.
Radhakrishnan added that the new cabinet should include efficient and committed individuals who can work effectively for the people.
