Gold prices in Kerala registered a sharp decline on Friday, bringing relief to jewellery buyers across the state. According to the latest rates, the price of 22-carat gold dropped by ₹205 per gram compared to the previous day.
With the latest revision, one gram of 22-carat gold (916 hallmark) is now priced at ₹14,675, while eight grams cost ₹1,17,400.The price of 18-carat gold also witnessed a fall. One gram is currently priced at ₹12,120, and eight grams at ₹96,960.
Silver prices declined as well, with one gram priced at ₹290 and eight grams costing ₹2,320.
