Four Maharashtra Tourists Stranded in Nepal Floods, Safe: Officials

Mumbai: Four tourists from Maharashtra are stranded in Nepal amid flash floods but are safe, officials said on Wednesday.

According to an official, the state disaster management authorities have established communication with all four tourists, with two each from Mumbai and Pune.

Authorities are also compiling details of people from Maharashtra who may have been stranded in Nepal due to the floods.

Officials said efforts are underway to gather information on the whereabouts and safety of other Maharashtra residents who may be affected by the situation.
