Kochi: After a brief rally, gold prices have taken a dip today, retreating from their upward momentum. The price per sovereign has dropped by ₹360, settling at ₹64,160, while the per-gram rate has fallen by ₹45 to ₹8,020.
Gold had recently witnessed a sharp decline of nearly ₹1,000, only to bounce back over the past two days. On February 25, prices were on track to break the ₹64,600 mark, fueling expectations of a further surge. However, today’s dip highlights the market’s volatility, driven by fluctuations in global trends and stock market movements.
