AYODHYA (UP): All eight individuals named in an FIR over the alleged embezzlement of donations received at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya have been arrested, senior officials confirmed on Friday.
The FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by Krishna Mohan, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The case follows recommendations made in the preliminary report of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which was constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government to investigate the allegations.
Officials said the eight accused are currently being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged misappropriation of temple donations. Authorities added that further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
