Delhi-Jaipur Highway Service Lane in Gurugram to Remain Closed for Two Months

Gurugram: A service lane of the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Gurugram will remain closed for two months due to the construction of stormwater drains by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) along Sectors 76 to 80 and the highway.

The closure will come into effect from 6 am on Tuesday and remain in place until October 15, officials said.

The Gurugram traffic police issued an advisory on Monday afternoon, urging commuters to use alternative routes during the construction period.

According to the advisory, the service lane on the Delhi-to-Jaipur carriageway, extending from beneath the Rampura Chowk flyover to IMT Manesar, will be completely closed.

The traffic police have also implemented six route diversions to facilitate the movement of vehicles and minimise congestion in the area.

Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow traffic directions during the closure.
