Ranchi: Amid ongoing protests by job aspirants over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, the Jharkhand government on Monday announced the cancellation of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination and all recruitment tests conducted by outsourced agency TSR Data Processing Pvt Ltd (TDPL) since 2014.
The decision was taken during a marathon Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Addressing reporters after the meeting, Soren said cancelling the JSSC-CGL examination was one of the major demands raised by protesting students.
He also announced the cancellation of all examinations conducted by TDPL since 2014, along with the results published by the agency.
The decision comes amid growing concerns among job aspirants over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted in the state.
