New Delhi: India Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill has appealed for compassion, mutual respect, and prioritising students’ welfare amid the ongoing protests over repeated exam paper leaks across the country.
In a message shared on his Instagram story on Thursday, Gill said the younger generation deserves every opportunity to learn, dream, and help shape the nation’s future.
“As a young Indian, I believe our generation deserves every opportunity to learn, dream and shape the future we all aspire to,” Gill wrote.
His remarks come as students continue to stage protests demanding stricter action against exam paper leaks and measures to ensure fair and transparent recruitment and examination processes. Gill stressed that the best interests of every student should remain at the heart of all decisions.
