Thiruvananthapuram: In the recently concluded local body by-elections in Kerala, the CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) emerged victorious in 15 out of 30 wards. The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) secured 12 wards.
The elections were held across 13 districts, with Wayanad being the only district excluded. Other political parties and independent candidates won the remaining seats. The results hold political significance for both major fronts in the state.
