New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed his gratitude to world leaders for their warm wishes on India’s 80th Independence Day and said he deeply appreciated the congratulatory messages received from across the globe.
Responding to Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay on X, Modi thanked him for his greetings and highlighted the special and enduring relationship between India and Bhutan.
“Thank you Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay for your warm wishes. We deeply cherish our special and enduring partnership with Bhutan, which continues to go from strength to strength,” Modi said in a post on X.
The Prime Minister has been responding to messages from leaders around the world extending greetings to India on its Independence Day.
