16 Delhi Metro Stations Closed Amid CJP Protest in Delhi

New Delhi: Sixteen Delhi Metro stations, including Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Mandi House, ITO and Khan Market, were closed on Thursday morning until further notice due to security concerns, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced.

The closures come as large crowds gathered at Jantar Mantar for the ongoing protest organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).

The DMRC clarified that while entry and exit at the affected stations remain suspended, interchange facilities continue to be available at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat stations. Authorities have tightened security in the area, and commuters have been advised to plan their travel accordingly.
