New Delhi: Security has been significantly tightened across the national capital ahead of the Parliament protest march organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Prohibitory orders have been imposed in parts of Delhi as authorities step up security measures.
A multi-layer security arrangement has been put in place around the Parliament complex, while major roads have been barricaded to regulate movement. Security has also been enhanced at the official residences of Union ministers.
At Jantar Mantar, where the protest is being held, water cannons have been deployed to deal with any untoward situation. Delhi Police has also decided to use mobile jammers as part of the security arrangements.
Authorities have prohibited the gathering of more than four people under the imposed restrictions to maintain law and order during the protest.
