The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will visit Himachal Pradesh from April 27 to May 1 as part of her annual summer sojourn.
During the visit, the President will stay at the Rashtrapati Niwas in Mashobra, Shimla. On April 28, she is scheduled to attend a banquet hosted by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh at Lok Bhavan in Shimla.
On April 29, the President will visit the Atal Tunnel. The following day, she will preside over the convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya in Palampur.
Later on April 30, she will host an ‘At Home’ reception at Rashtrapati Niwas, Mashobra. On May 1, the President will visit the Army Training Command before returning to New Delhi.
Officials said the visit includes a mix of official engagements and ceremonial events during her stay in the hill state.
