NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on today interacted with 82 National Teachers Award winners at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg.
Modi urged teachers to look beyond academic performance and remain attentive to students’ behaviour, screen use and exposure to drugs. He stressed the need to preserve childhood, nurture curiosity and encourage sports and creative activities.
Highlighting the National Education Policy, the Prime Minister called for connecting classroom learning with real-world skills and promoting values such as dignity of labour.
