More than 2,500 students who secured outstanding results in the SSLC and Plus Two examinations from the Thrissur Assembly constituency were honoured at the “MP’s Snehaadaram” felicitation programme organised by the BJP City District Committee at the Thrissur Town Hall.
The event was inaugurated by Thrissur MP and Union Minister Suresh Gopi. Addressing the gathering, he said that the hard work of students, along with the support of parents and teachers, forms the foundation of academic success. He also noted that the educational achievements of the younger generation are crucial for the progress of society.
BJP City District President Justin Jacob presided over the function. Several BJP leaders, including state vice presidents, district office-bearers, councillors, and representatives of various party wings, attended and addressed the gathering.
During the ceremony, Suresh Gopi presented gifts and mementoes to the students in recognition of their academic excellence. The programme was followed by a series of cultural performances.
