Mumbai BJP chief Ameet Satam accuses Rahul Gandhi of being a ‘Pakistan agent’

Mumbai: Mumbai BJP president Ameet Satam on Monday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of acting as a “Pakistan agent living in India” following his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ameet Satam alleged that Rahul Gandhi was attempting to create political unrest in the country because he had failed to defeat Modi through democratic elections. He further claimed that the Congress leader was receiving financial support from foreign countries and forces hostile to India.

“Anti-India global powers are backing you. You want to create chaos in the country, but the people will not allow you to succeed,” Ameet Satam said.

His remarks came after Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of securing the country’s top political position with the support of foreign forces. The exchange has intensified the political confrontation between the BJP and the Congress.
