Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced the launch of a state-of-the-art Emerging Tech Hub with an investment of ₹350 crore, aimed at advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) across key industries.
The hub will focus on AI integration in agriculture, healthcare, defence, and renewable energy, driving innovation, automation, and efficiency. The initiative is part of Kerala’s vision to establish itself as a leading AI and tech-driven economy.
The government will collaborate with AI researchers, industry leaders, and startups to position Kerala as a global hub for AI innovation and digital transformation. Additionally, the hub will serve as a center for skill development, research, and entrepreneurship, offering new opportunities for young professionals in the AI sector.
