New Delhi: A recent survey has revealed that Kerala Police is the most likely to follow arrest procedures, while Karnataka ranks at the bottom.
In Karnataka, 70% of respondents stated that legal provisions related to arrests are “rarely or never” followed. Only 13% reported that the procedures were always adhered to, while 17% said they were followed “sometimes.”
In contrast, Kerala has been recognized for adhering to arrest-related legal procedures more consistently. The findings highlight significant disparities in police compliance with legal norms across different states.
