Gold prices declined in Kerala on Friday, bringing slight relief to buyers. The price of one gram of 916 hallmark gold dropped by ₹40 and is now priced at ₹14,620, while the rate for eight grams (one sovereign) stands at ₹1,16,960.
The price of 18-carat gold also witnessed a fall, with one gram priced at ₹12,075 and eight grams at ₹96,600.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at ₹285 per gram and ₹2,280 for eight grams.
