Gold prices in Kerala witnessed a decline of ₹35 per gram on today, according to the latest market rates.
The price of 916 hallmark gold has been fixed at ₹14,275 per gram, while the rate for 8 grams stands at ₹1,14,200. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹11,795 per gram and ₹94,360 for 8 grams.
Silver prices remain steady at ₹275 per gram, with 8 grams costing ₹2,200.
Jewellery traders said the slight fall in gold prices may provide some relief to customers planning purchases during the wedding and festive season.
