On the occasion of World Environment Day, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan appealed to all Indians to participate in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting trees and contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
The Vice President planted a sapling at the Vice President’s residence and called on citizens to make environmental protection and sustainable living a part of their daily lives. Emphasising India’s long-standing tradition of living in harmony with nature, he urged collective action to preserve the environment for future generations.
