BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday visited the site of the fireworks accident at Mundathikode in Thrissur and met those injured in the incident.
Speaking after the visit, he said the scenes at both the accident site and the hospital were “heart-wrenching.” He interacted with the injured victims and assured them of full support from the BJP-NDA alliance.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar also stated that the financial assistance announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the affected families would be ensured without delay.
He added that prayers are with all those affected by the tragedy and their families, expressing hope for the speedy recovery of the injured.
