New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth at the 20th Rozgar Mela on September 19.
The appointment letters will be distributed through video conferencing at 12.30 pm, following which the Prime Minister will address the newly selected candidates.
The Rozgar Mela will be organised simultaneously at 45 locations across the country. The recruits will join various ministries and departments of the Central Government, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Defence.
The government said the Rozgar Mela reflects its continued focus on expanding employment opportunities for young people and enabling their greater participation in the country’s development.
With the 20th edition of the Rozgar Mela, around 12.75 lakh youth will have received appointment letters for positions across various government departments and organisations.
