Kolkata: West Bengal Health Minister Sharadwat Mukherjee has urged schools to allow students to wear clothes covering their arms and legs for three months to help prevent dengue.
He asked schools to permit full-sleeve shirts, trousers and salwar suits during September, October and November, regardless of uniform rules.
Mukherjee also urged teachers and school authorities to spread awareness among students about dengue prevention.
