Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday inaugurated the third edition of the Kashmir Marathon, bringing together more than 1,800 athletes from India and abroad.
The event has emerged as one of the country’s prominent athletics competitions, attracting participants from across the world.
This year’s marathon offers a total prize pool of ₹3.17 crore, with the winner in the open category set to receive ₹25 lakh, officials said.
