New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his greetings to devotees undertaking the annual Amarnath Yatra, describing the pilgrimage as a symbol of India’s spiritual heritage, unity, and service.
In a letter addressed to pilgrims, the Prime Minister urged devotees to maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, support local products under the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative, and participate in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting a tree.
Modi also appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army, CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, ITBP, BRO, healthcare workers, sanitation staff, and volunteers for ensuring the safe and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
Expressing confidence that the Yatra would strengthen national unity and spiritual values, the Prime Minister wished all pilgrims a safe, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling journey.
