Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Saturday expressed deep grief over the death of eight engineering students from Dindigul in a tragic road accident in Kerala’s Thrissur district.
The students were killed when their car crashed into the rear of a Maharashtra-registered lorry parked on NH-66 at Panambi Kunnu in Kaipamangalam around 11.40 pm on Friday, police said.
The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and friends of the victims.
