Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline on Tuesday, with the rate of 22-carat (916) gold falling by ₹165 per gram, according to the latest market update.
As per the new rates, one gram of 22-carat (916) gold is priced at ₹12,845, while an 8-gram sovereign costs ₹1,02,760.
The price of 18-carat gold stands at ₹10,615 per gram, with an 8-gram unit priced at ₹84,920.
Meanwhile, silver is being sold at ₹235 per gram, while 8 grams are priced at ₹1,880.
The revised rates come amid fluctuations in the bullion market and are expected to influence jewellery purchases across the state.
