Enforcement Directorate Raids Former Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s Residence in CMRL Case

The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday carried out searches at the residence of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and several other locations in connection with the CMRL money laundering case involving his daughter, T Veena, officials said.

According to officials, searches were conducted at 10 premises across Kerala under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The locations included Vijayan’s rented residence in Thiruvananthapuram, a site in Kannur, and properties linked to key persons associated with Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL).

Officials said the searches at Vijayan’s residence were carried out as part of the investigation involving his daughter in the alleged money laundering case.

The Enforcement Directorate is probing financial transactions linked to CMRL and related entities as part of the ongoing investigation.
