Amit Shah Reviews Arrangements for Buddha Relics Darshan in Ladakh

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday held a meeting with Ladakh Lieutenant Governor V. K. Saxena and senior officials to ensure smooth arrangements for public viewing of Lord Buddha’s sacred relics.

The meeting focused on facilitating hassle-free ‘darshan’ for devotees over the next two weeks. Shah, who arrived in Leh earlier in the day, said the administration is taking steps to ensure that visitors face no inconvenience.

In a post on X, the Home Minister noted that Friday would be a historic occasion for Ladakh, as people will be able to have darshan of the relics on the auspicious festival of Buddha Purnima.

He also expressed that he felt fortunate to have the opportunity to personally view the sacred relics during his visit.
