Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams has begun her journey back to Earth after spending over nine months aboard the International Space Station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes to Williams, acknowledging her contributions to space exploration and expressing India’s pride in her achievements.
Williams, along with her crew, is set to land in the waters off the coast of Florida after a 17-hour journey aboard SpaceX’s Dragon capsule. Her extended stay in space was due to technical delays, making her return a highly anticipated event.
