Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday criticised the Congress, saying that while the world is searching for a new global order, some people are dreaming of disorder in India.
Addressing the NDTV World Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Modi took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, comparing the Congress’s repeated attempts to establish its leader with rocket launches from Sriharikota.
The Prime Minister said global institutions must evolve to address changing geopolitical realities, technological advances and emerging economic powers. Recalling the COVID-19 pandemic, he stressed the need for an inclusive world order centred on humanity and international cooperation.
