Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) has secured a landmark victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, marking a dramatic shift in the state’s political landscape.
The party, formed just two years ago, swept the polls with a commanding performance, ending the dominance of traditional Dravidian parties.
In a major upset, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin lost his seat, while his son Udhayanidhi Stalin was also defeated in the elections.
The results signal a significant political transition in Tamil Nadu, with TVK emerging as a new force in state politics.
