Suresh Gopi Starts Campaign in Thrissur, Likely to Contest from BJP

Thiruvananthapuram: Suresh Gopi, the popular actor and BJP leader, has already started campaigning in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency even before the official announcement of the elections and his candidature. The BJP’s booth-level meetings began on Tuesday, February 7th, with Gopi visiting four constituencies to strengthen the party’s grassroots network.

He visited Nattika, Puthukkad, Ollur, and Irinjalakuda constituencies on Tuesday. His focus is to highlight the projects implemented using central funds and bridge the gap between leaders and party workers. Instead of corner meetings, the BJP has now shifted to organizing meetings at the constituency level.

In the coming days, Suresh Gopi and the BJP plan to intensify their campaign by calling booth-level officers and focusing on the constituency.

Although it is almost certain that Suresh Gopi will contest from Thrissur, the official announcement is yet to be made. His active campaigning indicates a heated electoral battle in the Thrissur constituency.
