PM Modi Speaks to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Reaffirms Resolve Against Terrorism

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which both leaders strongly reaffirmed their shared resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Modi conveyed India’s firm stand against terrorism and emphasized the need for the international community to act decisively against terror networks and their sponsors. PM reiterated that terrorism poses a serious threat to global peace and security and must be dealt with through united and coordinated efforts.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, in turn, appreciated India’s consistent support and underscored Israel’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with India in counter-terrorism, security, and intelligence-sharing.

The two leaders also reviewed the close bilateral ties between India and Israel, noting the steady progress in cooperation across sectors including defence, technology, innovation, and strategic security. Both agreed to remain in close touch and continue working together to address common challenges.

The conversation reflects the strong strategic partnership between India and Israel and their shared commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and security in the region and beyond.
