Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday alleged that B. R. Ambedkar was neglected and ignored by previous non-NDA governments.
Addressing a state-level function marking Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, Majhi claimed that the recognition and respect for the Constitution’s principal architect were restored only after Narendra Modi assumed office.
He made the remarks while paying tributes to Ambedkar, highlighting his contributions to the nation and the framing of the Constitution. The event was part of statewide celebrations commemorating Ambedkar’s legacy and role in shaping modern India.
