PM Modi Lauds Devotion and Announces Youth Dialogue at BAPS Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav in Ahmedabad, celebrating 50 years of dedicated service by volunteers of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Speaking to a gathering of nearly 100,000 ‘karyakars’ (volunteers), PM Modi praised their commitment to social welfare and India’s cultural heritage. He highlighted BAPS’s global influence, citing their humanitarian efforts during the Ukraine-Russia conflict and the recent inauguration of the Swaminarayan temple in Abu Dhabi.

The Prime Minister also announced the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue to be held in January 2025, aimed at engaging youth to contribute innovative ideas for India’s development. This initiative will focus on themes such as Fit India, Vocal for Local, and chemical-free agriculture. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present at the grand event held at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

This celebration underscored the role of community service and volunteerism in nation-building, emphasizing the importance of youth participation in achieving India’s development goals.
