Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated veteran leader N Rangasamy after he took oath as the Chief Minister of Puducherry for the fifth time.
Rangasamy, founder of the All India N.R. Congress (AINRC), was sworn in along with two cabinet ministers.
In a message shared on social media platform X, Modi described Rangasamy as an experienced and effective administrator who has contributed significantly to Puducherry’s development. The Prime Minister also expressed confidence in working together for the welfare of the people of the Union Territory.
Rangasamy’s return to office marks another term for the AINRC-led government in Puducherry.
