PM Modi Chairs Advisory Board Meeting for WAVES Summit; India Poised to Become Global Entertainment Hub

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently led an extensive meeting of the Advisory Board of the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) via video conference. The summit, set to take place from February 5 to 9, 2025, aims to establish India as a global leader in entertainment, creativity, and culture.

WAVES is designed to foster cross-industry collaborations, bringing together thought leaders from various domains to accelerate India’s growth in the digital and creative economy. The advisory board, comprising eminent personalities, shared valuable insights on strengthening India’s position as a world-class content creation hub.

Renowned actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for including them in the prestigious WAVES advisory board. Kapoor remarked, “The members of the Advisory Board not only reiterated their support but also shared valuable inputs on how to enhance India’s global entertainment presence.”
