Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday promised that India’s citizens will see their tax burden ease further as the nation’s economy grows stronger. Inaugurating the UP International Trade Show, Modi assured that GST reforms will continue, ensuring more savings and disposable income for people.
Highlighting key reforms, the PM noted that the government has already implemented zero income tax up to ₹12 lakh and introduced a simplified GST 2.0 system, calling these “structural moves” to fuel consumption and sectoral growth.
Reiterating his vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), Modi urged greater investments in research, innovation, and domestic manufacturing, stressing: “Every product that can be made in India should be made in India.”
PM also extended an invitation to global investors, positioning India as a stable, resilient, and growth-driven economy, even in uncertain global times.
