Operation Sindoor Showed India’s Resolve to Protect Citizens: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said Operation Sindoor demonstrated the unmatched valour of India’s armed forces and sent a clear message globally that the country would go to any extent to ensure the safety of its citizens.

Addressing the ‘Sindoor Maharaktadan Yatra’ blood donation camp at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantonment, Singh commended the Indian Defence Forces for eliminating terrorists and their handlers based in Pakistan and ensuring that those who threatened India faced serious consequences.

Drawing a parallel between Operation Sindoor and the blood donation campaign, the Defence Minister said that while Operation Sindoor showcased the courage and valour of the armed forces, the mega blood donation camp represented the spirit of compassion and selfless service.

Around 1,000 wrestlers and athletes from Maharashtra participated in the blood donation camp as donors. Singh appreciated their gesture of solidarity with the armed forces and their contribution to the spirit of national service.

The Defence Minister said the initiative reflected the strong bond between the people and the armed forces and highlighted the values of courage, compassion and service to the nation.
