Leaders Pay Tribute to Dr B.R. Ambedkar on Birth Anniversary

New Delhi: Top leaders, including Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, paid floral tributes to B. R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at the Parliament House Complex on Tuesday.

Several Union Ministers, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, Deputy Chairman Harivansh, and Members of Parliament also paid homage at Prerna Sthal and later in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan.

Addressing students during a programme organised by PRIDE, Om Birla highlighted Ambedkar’s contributions to nation-building and said his life remains a lasting source of inspiration. He emphasised that constitutional values such as equality, liberty, and justice continue to guide India’s democracy.

Om Birla also urged youth to uphold Ambedkar’s ideals and work with a “Nation First” commitment, stressing their role in building a strong and inclusive India.
