Mumbai police have arrested Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in connection with a death threat made to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The threat, which also involved a demand for ₹50 lakh, was traced back to a phone number registered in Khan’s name. Faizan had earlier reported his phone as lost, claiming he filed a police complaint. However, following the Mumbai police’s investigation, which included a visit to Raipur, Faizan was arrested on charges related to extortion and criminal intimidation. This arrest comes amid similar threats to other film stars, reportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
