T’puram, Sept 05 (IVC) The law and order situation was under utter deterioration in Kerala. It was not the allegation of an opposition party MLA, but the ruling Left Democratic Front’s Independent MLAS had given in writing of the serious crimes committed by the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) M R Ajith Kumar and the Pathanamthitta District Superintendeent of Police , P Sujith and Chief Minister’s Political Secretary, P Sasi .
The allegations made by Anvar against them are of serious nature like large scale
Corruption, smuggling, murder and render secret support to BJP. Inquiry against them should be after removing them from their existings position for a just and impartial findings . But only Sujith was removed and ADGP and Sasi till continues their positions in tact. The opposition criticized Government for not removing Ajit Kumar was tantamount to the fence itself eating the crops.
The Thrissur Pooram was spoiled following a well hatched conspiracy with a view of defeating the LDF candidate V S Sunil Kumar The conspiracy was a successful one with the victory of BJP candidate and cine actor Suresh Gopi. It was alleged that the policemen who were in charge of maintenance of law and order , including Ajith Kumar had played an important role in this regard.
CPI leader and former Agriculture Minister V S Sunil Kumar has demanded that underlying conspiracy that led to the issues during the last Thrissur Pooram be exposed. He alleged that the police totally failed in handling the issue, adding he said, issues were created with a clear political agenda.
Earlier only opposition party leaders had alleged that the Chief deliberately delayed the release of the Justice K Hema Committee report for protection certain super star in the Malayalam Film Industry. Now the actress Rima Kallingal, one of the founders of Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) had alleged the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan actors Mohanlal and Mammootty conspired through the Hema Committee to sabotage the careers of the actors like Fahadh .
The governance of the second terms of Pinarayi Vijayan Ministry was worst of all other LDF Governments.
Nayanar Ministry od 1987 and 1996 and V S Achuthanandan’s Ministry were under the control of the State CPI(M) and politburo. But now the State Unit of CPI(M) had no control at all the Government and it was running according to the whims and fancies of the Chief Minister. If anybody expressed dissent , he would be no more in the party. Hence all the party structure was afraid of expressing their opinion against Chief Minister’s arbitrary decisions.
All the ministers of the second term of Pinarayi Vijayan Government are inefficient and psychophants and incapable of taking decision even on a small matter. The politburo was in firm opinion that Sheilaja Teacher should be included in the cabinet, but Chief Minister did not agree with inducting her into his cabinet of second term.
The law and order situation was the worst affected sector of the Pinarayi Government.
It would be apt to quote one line from Shakespeare’s Hamlet here : “Something is rotten in the State of Denmark. That one may smile and smile and be a villain”.
But in the State of Kerala , it is not only rotten, but stale also. It is essential for Hercules to come to clean Augeas’ stables. It is the question about the administration of Kerala “ to be Pinarayi changed or not to be changed. If not changed, it would be dissipation of LDF’s rule in the State.
