Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan Issues Strong Warning: Strict Action Against Any Attack on Women

In a powerful statement, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has vowed that strict action will be taken against anyone who insults or misbehaves with women. Speaking at the CPM Alappuzha district conference, the Chief Minister emphasized, “If women’s pride is questioned, strict action will follow. Any misbehaviour towards women will not be tolerated. There is no room for inappropriate comments or actions towards women.”

Vijayan’s remarks underscore the state’s unwavering commitment to protecting women’s dignity and safety, signaling a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of violence or disrespect.

In the same speech, he also criticized the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), accusing them of fostering communal forces that are against Kerala’s inclusive values. Vijayan claimed that the UDF was aligning with elements whose policies resemble those of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), sparking further political debate.

The Kerala government’s firm stance on safeguarding women’s rights sends a clear message of strength and determination in addressing gender-based misconduct.
