PM Modi Pledges Enhanced Pilgrimage Experiences for Devotees with Major Initiatives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to providing enriched and seamless pilgrimage experiences for devotees. This announcement follows the signing of the Hajj Agreement 2025 between India and Saudi Arabia, securing pilgrimage arrangements for 175,025 Indian Hajj pilgrims—a significant step toward ensuring a smoother spiritual journey.

The agreement was formalized by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah. Applauding this development, Prime Minister Modi called it “wonderful news” for Indian pilgrims and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing pilgrimage services for devotees of all faiths.

Beyond the Hajj Agreement, the government is actively supporting major religious gatherings, including the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, which has drawn millions of devotees. PM Modi celebrated the event as a “very special day,” highlighting it as a sacred convergence of faith, devotion, and cultural heritage.

These initiatives underscore the government’s continuous efforts to make pilgrimage experiences safer, more accessible, and spiritually fulfilling for devotees across the country.
