Guruvayur: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala visited the Guruvayur Temple on Monday and offered prayers to Lord Guruvayurappan.
The minister arrived at the temple during the morning Seeveli ritual. After witnessing the ceremony and offering prayers, he proceeded to the Nalambalam and had darshan of Lord Guruvayurappan, seeking divine blessings.
Following the darshan, Ramesh Chennithala performed the traditional Tulabharam offering. Butter and firewood were offered as part of the ritual, for which approximately 75 kilograms were required.
The minister also received the temple prasadam after completing the offerings.
Guruvayur Devaswom Chairman A.V. Gopinath welcomed the minister upon his arrival at the temple.
